It's the story of a teenager Dave Lizewski/Kick-Ass (Aaron Johnson) who decides he's going to take up being a real life superhero. His actions are publicized on the internet and inspire others. Kick-Ass attracts the attention of the fearless and highly-trained crime-fighting duo of Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and his daughter, Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) who are on a mission to take down the criminal empire of local Mafioso, Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong).

The movie was directed by Matthew Vaughn, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jane Goldman. The comic was written by Mark Millar and illustrated by John Romita, Jr.

How to Train Your Dragon is a computer-animated fantasy movie loosely based on the 2003 children's novel of the same title, which was written by British author Cressida Cowell.

The story takes place in a mythical Viking world where a hapless young Viking named "Hiccup" aspires to follow his tribe's tradition of becoming a dragon slayer. After finally capturing his first dragon (Toothless), and with his chance at finally gaining the tribe's acceptance, he finds that he no longer has the desire to kill it and instead befriends it.

The movie was directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois. It stars the voice talents of Jay Baruchel (Hiccup), America Ferrera (Astrid), Gerard Butler (Stoick), Craig Ferguson (Gobber), Jonah Hill (Snotlout), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fishlegs), Kristen Wiig (Ruffnut) and T.J. Miller (Tuffnut).

How to Train Your Dragon was released on March 26, 2010 by DreamWorks Animation and topped the North American box office in its first weekend of release.

It stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry. The movie was directed by Tim Burton and written by Linda Woolverton. Burton said that he used a combination of live action and animation, without motion capture.
