Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy adventure movie, it is an extension of Lewis Carroll's novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Alice in Wonderland was originally set to be released in 2009, but was pushed to March 5, 2010.

It stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry. The movie was directed by Tim Burton and written by Linda Woolverton. Burton said that he used a combination of live action and animation, without motion capture.
