The Dark Knight Leads Warner Bros to Almost 1B in Summer Sales, over America’s Labor Day weekend holiday, the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight became the 2nd movie in Hollywood history to pass the $500 million dollar mark. According to Warner Bros. studios, The Dark Knight has made over $502.4 million from domestic American ticket sales, Warner Bros is the No. 1 studio for the summer of 2008.
The film hit that mark in just over six weeks, half the time it took "Titanic," which reached $500 million in a little more than three months.
